At the time I read the book "Creating Welded Sculpture" by Nathan Cabot Hale, and was immediately inspired to use the methods and procedures he describes, I was planning to try my hand at "Kinetic Sculpture". After all, I've been designing and building "utilitarian art" for a big part of my life. This piece is the result. My first attempt at kinetics and my first direct welded sculpture.
As long as it is exposed to an air current, such as a heat register, it will constantly move.
