Steel sculpture, finished with rust patina Size 29" x 22" x 8 3/4" One of my many interests for over 35 years has been our Coastal and Rain forest ecology. For many years I was a member of a conservation organization. and also a licensed river guide. This piece exemplifies my deep affection for our Salmonids and the world they live in. It reminds me of the timewhen I stood in the surf at the mouth of a small coastal river at the beginning of the rising tide, watching Coho salmon litterally surfing into the estuary part of the river around the end of October.
