Andreas Daniel Bolliger.

He was born Aug. 20th, 1965 in Silverton, OR and died June 11th, 2000 in Seattle, WA after a brave and valiant fight with cancer.
He was an exemplary, loving and caring man and we miss him!
IN MEMORY AND TRIBUTE TO ALL THE PEOPLE AND DREAMS THAT HAVE PASSED FROM MY LIFE.
By your passing you have given me the gift of this understanding:
The key to life is to embrace death. It is the one insight, truth or message that all spiritual traditions or mythologies have in common. Embracing means to me acceptance and respect. A powerful equal to life. Not preoccupation or all consuming passion. That is the priviledge and curse of adolescent, self indulgent lust.
Life as we know it, is bound by time. We can not accelerate it or slow it down. To do so has inevitable and often irreversible consequences. To give one more power than the other destroys the cosmic balance, the wholeness and goodness and beauty of the created order that holds all things together.
As a frail and limited human being I have to use whatever energy and resources I have at my disposal to concentrate on the one thing I have at this point in time and that is life.
Paul Bolliger
